About MemoDiction

Imagine a dictionary that helps you remember words better.

What is MemoDiction?

MemoDiction is a dictionary that helps you remember words better. It is a collection of words that are commonly used in the English language, along with their definitions, synonyms, antonyms, examples in sentences, mnemonics for remembering, etymology and history, idiomatic expressions/phrases, regional variations (if applicable), and common misconceptions/errors.

Why MemoDiction?

Remembering words is hard. It’s even harder to remember words that you don’t use often. We believe that the second best way to remember words is through mnemonics. Also, it is hard to understand the nuances of a word without knowing its etymology and history. MemoDiction aims to solve these problems by providing a comprehensive list of words along with their mnemonics, etymology and history, and more. This can help you not only prepare for exams like the SAT, GRE, and GMAT, but also improve your vocabulary in general.
